Contracts & Project Controls Specialist

Position Overview

Seeking a skilled Contracts & Project Controls Specialist to manage contractual claims and control project schedules in an EPC or industrial construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, assess, and manage contractual claims including extensions of time, variations, disruptions, and loss/expense claims by thoroughly analyzing contract entitlements and compiling necessary documentation.
• Develop and oversee project timelines utilizing Primavera P6 or MS Project, conduct critical path and delay analysis, and identify any schedule deviations or risks.
• Perform detailed delay and disruption evaluations such as Time Impact Analysis, comparing planned versus actual progress, and Windows Analysis to justify claims and assist project recovery efforts.
• Keep accurate project documentation including claims registers and schedule variance reports, review contract terms, issue notices as required, and recognize potential claims and risks.
• Liaise with project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to provide updates, progress reports, claim substantiation, and insights to facilitate successful project execution.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a degree or diploma in Engineering.
• Experience in claims management, project planning, or project control within EPC or industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, and delay analysis techniques.
