Regional Engineer

Job Overview

The Regional Engineer will support the Regional Tech & Solution presales team on various projects. This role demands clear communication and strong problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with peers and resolve technical issues.

Core Responsibilities

• Possess application programming knowledge for Windows, Android, and iOS platforms.
• Have foundational programming skills and conduct testing of sample applications.
• Set up environments for applications developed internally.
• Execute test frameworks across multiple available platforms.
• Lead or assist regional training programs throughout the APAC region, especially during new product rollouts.
• Provide technical support to Product Managers to boost project success chances.
• Contribute to the development of application modules within a cloud-based B2B application model.
• Create and maintain documentation to support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in solution development.
• Perform thorough product research and analysis, comparing features using internet and third-party data sources.
• Maintain effective communication within a collaborative team environment.
• Support administrative duties related to corporate product events and customer engagements.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Proficient in web application programming and familiar with server application configuration.
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and Angular considered an advantage.
• Experience in Windows application development is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills for interacting with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret product features and specifications to align with customer needs.
• Basic understanding of printing technologies and interface concepts.
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems including Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android.
• Preferred work experience ranges from 2 to 3 years.
• Educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics & Electrical Engineering at an undergraduate level.
