Role Overview

The Commis Chef will uphold rigorous health and safety standards, including personal hygiene, while preparing outstanding, innovative dishes that exceed guest expectations. Effective communication within the kitchen team is essential, including accepting feedback gracefully and following instructions precisely. The role demands the ability to multitask calmly under pressure, handling multiple orders simultaneously. Responsibilities also include performing fundamental food preparation and organizing tasks within the kitchen, to contribute to a collaborative, efficient operation and ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School education is required
• Previous experience in Food & Beverage or restaurant operations is preferred
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork
• Strong skills in guest service and satisfaction
• Basic understanding of food preparation, presentation, and preservation techniques
• Familiarity with hygiene and safety protocols
