Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Configuration Analyst who will be instrumental in the technical setup of platform requirements for Cohere's Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) clients. Reporting to the Senior Manager of PaaS Value Delivery, you'll collaborate with client-facing teams to understand and implement key clinical configurations that support new and existing clients in achieving their prior authorization automation objectives. Your contributions will directly influence company growth and help more patients during critical healthcare moments.
Key Responsibilities
- Deeply understand client technical needs to ensure seamless platform configurations during new client onboarding.
- Validate the configurability of new or enhanced product features designed to meet custom client demands.
- Create test cases and define success criteria for both new and current platform configurations.
- Carry out platform configuration tasks in alignment with project schedules and client expectations.
- Quickly identify and resolve technical problems that arise during end-to-end testing or after deployment to maintain client satisfaction.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for client-facing analysts throughout the customer lifecycle, providing education and resolving queries regarding platform configurability; occasionally liaise directly with clients to address issues.
- Work closely with Product, Development, Design, and Engineering teams to scope, develop, and deploy internal tools for managing configurations more efficiently.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Over two years of professional experience in Configuration Management roles.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulae and data analytics.
- Skilled in creating and modifying JSON-based business rules governing system actions.
- Familiar with Jira for tracking tasks and managing projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to develop deep product understanding and provide high-quality resolutions.
- Proven ability to set goals and deliver multiple projects within established deadlines.
- Effective collaboration skills, with experience working alongside cross-functional internal stakeholders to enhance product features.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a fully remote role with approximately 5% travel required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, alongside an Employee Assistance Program. The package also offers a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, flexible spending and health savings accounts, paid flexible time off plus company holidays, up to 14 weeks of paid parental leave, and pet insurance.
The annual salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000, including health insurance, 401(k), and bonus opportunities. Individual compensation depends on qualifications, experience, skill set, and internal alignment. Applicants residing in California, New York, or Washington are not eligible for hire.
