Job description
About the Role
As a Cleaner at OCS located in Lincoln, England, you will be vital in maintaining safe, hygienic environments that support customer productivity. The working hours are Sunday from 8:00 to 10:30 AM and Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 9:30 AM.
You will be responsible for tidying workspaces, cleaning floors, and attending to communal areas with hands-on activities such as vacuuming carpets, sweeping, mopping when necessary, emptying bins, and possibly cleaning washrooms. The job requires physical stamina, including standing for extended periods.
If assigned to day or night shifts in open public spaces, you may encounter customers regularly and will need to assist them with cleaning-related questions or report any incidents appropriately.
Completion of health and safety documentation and attending training sessions when required are essential components of this role.
Candidate Requirements
- Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK.
- A smartphone is necessary to operate the Timegate Time and Attendance system for clocking in/out and logging cleaning duties through designated apps.
- Previous cleaning experience is advantageous, although comprehensive training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to completing tasks thoroughly is expected.
