Cashier

Role Overview

Cashiers serve a key role in delivering swift, courteous, precise, and secure service to customers. They handle Checkout and Return transactions and oversee the Self-Checkout area. By actively acquiring product and project knowledge, they provide customers with helpful information and discover sales possibilities.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform accurate Checkout and Return processes for customers.
• Monitor and maintain order at the Self-Checkout stations.
• Quickly resolve pricing inquiries and assist with approving Point of Sale transactions, including markdowns across registers and service points.
• Serve as the first point of escalation for customer concerns, escalating appropriately as needed.
• Support the supervision, training, and coaching of fellow Front End Associates and new Cashiers, using available tools to enhance team performance.
• Adhere strictly to all store policies to reduce shrinkage and maintain operational standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Preferred candidacy includes at least one year of prior experience as a Cashier.
