Cargo Executive

Job Overview

This position is designated for personnel operating as Agent in Cargo operations, primarily responsible for managing cargo activities efficiently at the assigned airport.

Key Duties

• Oversee and ensure smooth handling of cargo operations at the airport location.
• Execute cargo operations adhering strictly to relevant regulations and the Cargo Operations Manual guidelines.
• Maintain all safety, security protocols, and standard operating procedures related to cargo handling.
• Confirm cargo acceptance follows the established procedures.
• Ensure accurate cargo manifesting aligned with sales planning.
• Supervise dispatch of cargo from warehouses with complete and correct documentation.
• Generate necessary documentation and reports pertaining to cargo activities.
• Properly segregate shipments and assemble trolleys for flights.
• Manage correct loading and unloading of cargo from aircraft.
• Send appropriate messages to destinations regarding cargo and documentation location within the aircraft's cargo compartment.
• Handle segregation and delivery of incoming cargo to consignees, reporting discrepancies when identified.

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferable familiarity with basic cargo procedures and Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) certification.
• Educational qualification: Graduate or completion of 12th grade in any discipline.
