Security Executive - Chandigarh

Overview

The role is dedicated to safeguarding passengers, employees, and airport infrastructure by adhering to aviation security protocols, overseeing restricted zones, and managing security incidents efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold Company-mandated security policies and standards.
• Conduct consistent threat evaluations and ensure an effective response plan.
• Meet departmental objectives and pursue timely follow-ups.
• Execute tasks outlined in the Security Programme.
• Maintain performance excellence and coordinate with your shift team.
• Continuously monitor the Quality System to guarantee compliance levels.
• Maintain high-quality security operations.
• Prevent theft and loss of company assets.
• Implement Airport Emergency Procedures (AEP) guidelines issued by Airport Operators, BCAS, MOCA, and Government of India.
• Assess and thoroughly review AEP applications and their supporting documents prior to submission for regulatory approvals like TAE/BAEP.
• Accurately maintain files and daily logs.
• Provide recommendations for security training needs.
• Update manuals and local operational procedures regularly.
• Deploy skilled and qualified personnel for duty assignments.
• Reconcile and verify invoices related to security operations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong communication abilities.
• Capable of working harmoniously within a team environment.
• Experience levels vary by role: Security Officer (Fresher to 1 year), Security Executive (1-3 years), Senior Security Executive (3-5 years), Security Supervisor (5-7 years) specifically in aviation security.

Mandatory Physical Criteria

• Minimum height for females: 155 cm.
• Minimum height for males: 165 cm.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Prior exposure to aviation security functions.
• Possession of AVSEC Basic certification.
• Certification as a Screener.
• Familiarity with aviation regulatory compliance requirements.

Educational Requirements

Minimum qualification of High School Certificate (HSC) is required, though graduates are preferred.

Positions are located across PAN India, with this role specifically for Chandigarh.
