About The Role

The Merrion Hotel, a distinguished luxury establishment in Dublin, is seeking a professional Car Valet Parker to become an integral part of their five-star hospitality team. The role centers around delivering impeccable service to guests, ensuring their arrivals and departures are handled with courtesy and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcoming and engaging guests upon arrival and departure with professionalism.
• Safely and efficiently parking and retrieving guest vehicles.
• Handling guests' belongings including luggage with care, ensuring secure storage and transfer between vehicles and rooms.
• Maintaining a neat and organized front-of-house area to facilitate smooth traffic flow.
• Coordinating courteously with chauffeurs, taxi drivers, tour guides, and couriers.
• Managing items left by guests for collection responsibly and ensuring proper handling.
• Supporting guests and team members to maintain high service standards.

Candidate Profile

• Friendly, warm, and professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal communication.
• Strong customer service orientation coupled with close attention to detail.
• Dependable, organized, and able to remain composed during busy periods.
• Well-groomed and attentive to personal presentation.
• Demonstrates a positive and proactive attitude.
• Comfortable working autonomously yet also as part of a team.
• Holds a full, clean driving licence and is confident driving and parking a variety of vehicles.
• Experience in luxury hotels, concierge services, valet parking, or similar customer-facing hospitality roles is advantageous but not mandatory if the right attitude is demonstrated.
