Role Overview

We are seeking a German-speaking Business Development Representative to contribute to our expanding EMEA sales team by driving growth within the DACH region and broader European markets. The role focuses on engaging HR, Finance, and C-suite leaders to identify their needs and connect them with our global employment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate and qualify new business leads utilizing outbound calls, emails, social media, and inbound inquiries.
• Interact with German-speaking leaders in HR, Finance, and Operations to understand challenges and present tailored Safeguard Global solutions.
• Work jointly with Account Executives to develop account strategies and ensure efficient transfer of qualified prospects.
• Exploit marketing campaigns, events, and partner networks to stimulate pipeline activity.
• Maintain accurate CRM records using Salesforce and regularly report on pipeline status and progress.
• Consistently meet or surpass targets relating to meetings booked, opportunities generated, and revenue contribution.
• Enhance outreach effectiveness through training, constructive feedback, and peer collaboration.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated experience in business development, sales development, or inside sales, preferably within B2B SaaS, HR technology, or global workforce services.
• Direct experience operating in the DACH market with an understanding of local business culture and decision-making processes.
• Native or fluent German speaker with strong English communication skills in both writing and speaking.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills coupled with confidence in client interactions.
• Motivated, resilient, and goal-oriented mindset with the capacity to manage multiple discussions simultaneously.
• Proficient with CRM platforms, especially Salesforce, and sales engagement software tools.
• Residency in Germany with flexibility for remote work combined with participation in events throughout Germany and occasional visits to the Barcelona office.
