Role Overview

As a Business Development Representative for the DACH region at Safeguard Global, you will contribute significantly to expanding business across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as other EMEA markets. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and qualify new business opportunities through outreach and engagement with decision-makers in HR, Finance, and Operations, facilitating their access to the company's employment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via calls, emails, social media, and respond to inbound inquiries to generate leads.
  • Engage German-speaking leaders in HR, Finance, and Operations to discuss their challenges and align Safeguard Global's solutions to their needs.
  • Work collaboratively with Account Executives to develop account strategies and ensure smooth transition of qualified prospects.
  • Utilize marketing initiatives, events, and partnerships to drive lead generation at the top of the sales funnel.
  • Maintain Salesforce CRM with updated and accurate data on opportunities and pipelines; provide transparent reporting.
  • Meet and aim to surpass defined KPIs related to qualified meetings, pipeline volume, and revenue impact.
  • Seek continuous improvement through coaching feedback and teamwork with colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales development, or inside sales within B2B SaaS, HR technology, or workforce solutions sectors.
  • Experienced with the DACH market, possessing a solid grasp of the regional business culture and buyer decision processes.
  • Fluency in German (native or near-native) and strong command of English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence in interpersonal interactions and presentations.
  • Driven, inquisitive, and resilient with a strong ambition to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and handle multiple sales conversations at once.
  • Practical knowledge of CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and sales engagement software.
  • Based in Germany with willingness to work remotely alongside attending events in Germany and occasional visits to the Barcelona office.
