Job Summary
As a Business Development Representative at Sage, you will reach out to small and medium-sized business owners unfamiliar with our solutions to engage them in productive conversations. This front-line role focuses on generating leads and employing sales methodologies to initiate interest in our innovative software products.
Work Setup
This position operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring presence at our Newcastle office three days per week.

You will promote a distinctive software suite that blends long-standing industry expertise with cutting-edge technologies, including Sage AI, to streamline business operations and boost efficiency for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a comprehensive onboarding program that equips you with necessary skills and confidence.
- Perform a high volume of outreach activities including cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn messaging, and other creative customer engagement methods.
- Maintain a thoughtful and resilient approach when handling frequent rejections, focusing on building meaningful relationships and supporting customer needs.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in sales roles focused on lead generation.
- Familiarity with sales frameworks such as BANT or SPIN.
- Proven ability to effectively manage objections in sales conversations.
