Key Responsibilities

• Transport colleagues between accommodations and the hotel efficiently and courteously
• Regularly clean and maintain the bus to ensure optimal condition
• Keep meticulous records by reviewing and updating the vehicle logbook
• Maintain a neat appearance and a friendly, cheerful attitude consistently
• Provide regular reports to the Transportation/Employee Services Manager
• Build and sustain positive relationships with associates
• Address passenger complaints tactfully and professionally
• Ensure transportation services meet the hotel’s quality standards
• Collaborate effectively with departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food & Beverage
• Participate in mandatory training sessions
• Demonstrate respect and cooperation within the team and across departments
• Stay informed about daily operations and have thorough knowledge of the hotel's facilities and offerings

Detailed Duties

• Provide pickup and drop-off services between staff accommodations and the hotel with courtesy
• Operate and maintain transport vehicles prioritizing passenger safety and courtesy
• Carry out minor vehicle maintenance when required
• Refuel vehicles responsibly
• Ensure scheduled vehicle maintenance is performed and properly documented
• Prepare trip, accident, and incident reports accurately as needed
• Assist with other management-requested services when not engaged in transportation duties
• Have comprehensive knowledge of UAE, especially Dubai roads and landmarks
• Be well-versed in local traffic laws and regulations

Additional Duties

• Coordinate and communicate with the Transportation Team Leader
• Be familiar with all pertinent company documentation, especially the Operational Standards Manual relevant to the role
• Perform other assigned tasks as necessary
• Undertake any reasonable requests or duties beyond the stated job description

Qualifications

• Diploma or completion of high school education
• 1 to 3 years of driving experience in 4-5 star hotels or equivalent experience in UAE
• Possession of a valid UAE driving license
