Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality and attractive presentation of bakery items including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Keep the bakery section fully stocked and prepared for customers.
• Ensure all merchandise is correctly priced and displayed.
• Follow strict protocols for cold chain management, including calibrating thermometers, recording temperatures, handling food safely, rotating products correctly, and adhering to sell-by and expiration dates.
• Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards.
• Execute proper procedures for ordering, markdowns, clearances, price labeling, and signage.
• Prepare bakery products by carefully following thawing and baking instructions to maintain quality and appearance.
• Secure all product displays safely and neatly.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.

Additional Information

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.05.
