Role Overview

Key Duties

• Maintain the quality and appearance of bakery items like bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensure the bakery department is fully replenished and prepared for daily operations.
• Label and price merchandise accurately.
• Follow protocols for cold chain, temperature monitoring, food safety, handling, sanitation, and product rotation based on expiry and sell-by dates.
• Execute procedures related to ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, and signage.
• Prepare bakery products according to thawing and baking guidelines to preserve quality and presentation.
• Secure all displays safely and appropriately.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.70.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
