About the Role
Join Panda Express, a leading family-owned American Chinese restaurant brand, as an Assistant Manager. This position involves supporting the daily operations of a single restaurant store, including hiring, managing, and leading associates to achieve financial targets while delivering outstanding guest service. You will receive over three weeks of comprehensive store leadership training and ongoing mentorship to foster your professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in operating one store, ensuring its success through effective team management and financial goal achievement.
- Recruit, direct, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Engage in daily operational tasks, including employee scheduling and performance management.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma is mandatory.
- Flexibility to relocate within 50 miles of your home base if necessary.
- Ability to work varied hours including openings, closings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business needs.
- Serve Safe certification or equivalent food safety credential.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, steam, and noise. Employees typically stand for extended periods and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Adaptability to dynamic priorities and strong communication skills are essential to handle conflict and maintain operational efficiency.
