Asphalt Paving Operator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves overseeing the management and execution of infrastructure and road projects with a focus on asphalt paving quality and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the quality testing of asphalt mixtures matches approved technical specifications.
• Monitor site paving and compaction activities, ensuring target compaction levels and temperatures are met.
• Prepare and review asphalt mix designs as well as daily and periodic quality control reports.
• Coordinate directly with the project consultant and relevant authorities for material approvals and field/laboratory tests.
• Manage milling and repaving operations, providing efficient and prompt corrective measures for asphalt pavement defects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent field.
• A minimum of seven years continuous experience with a top-tier road contracting company.
• Preferably proven experience on Riyadh Municipality projects, particularly those focused on road upgrades and enhancements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of general technical specifications from the Ministry of Transport and Riyadh Municipality related to construction and asphalt works.
• Strong communication and team management skills with the ability to conduct thorough field supervision and follow-up.
