Key Responsibilities

• Monitor application health proactively with tools like Datadog and cloud-native dashboards, spotting potential issues before they escalate.
• Serve as the primary incident responder, tackling issues across Python, Java, and SQL layers to reduce business disruptions.
• Lead detailed root cause analyses to identify the underlying reasons for recurring problems, collaborating closely with development teams to apply sustainable fixes.
• Assist with cloud application operations and deployments on AWS, managing releases and patches through CI/CD pipelines with attention to safety and rollback procedures.
• Optimize system performance through SQL tuning and resource scaling efforts to maintain long-term stability.
• Promote operational excellence by identifying automation opportunities for repetitive support tasks and maintaining comprehensive runbooks and documentation.
• Communicate technical details clearly to end-users and stakeholders, especially during critical moments.

Candidate Profile

• Only Singaporean nationals are eligible to apply due to project requirements.
• A minimum of five years of direct application support or production engineering experience is necessary.
• Strong expertise in SQL and proficiency with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Practical knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and Git version control.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• An Agile mindset with a passion for complex problem-solving and collaborative teamwork.
