Primary Role and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and assign prices to apparel and hanging sporting goods from baggage and cargo shipments efficiently and accurately.
  • Gather current retail pricing information using various resources such as Liberty 4 Consignment software, spreadsheets, catalogues, and market data.
  • Use the Liberty program to input pricing details and product data.
  • Stay updated on vendor codes, merchandise codes, price points, and category classifications.
  • Communicate professionally with Pricing Distribution to resolve any discrepancies in pricing or sorting.
  • Tag initial garments correctly and mark hangers to signal sorting errors.
  • Ensure a smooth workflow of priced merchandise and meet daily production targets, currently 760 items per day.
  • Apply quality control measures to identify items that require special handling or redirection.
  • Learn to identify counterfeit goods through training guides, managerial support, and catalogs.
  • Maintain workspace organization and cleanliness following LEAN and 5S methodologies.
  • Receive cross-training in other pricing tasks and perform additional duties as assigned.

Counterfeit Merchandise Management

  • Collaborate closely with supervisors and management to detect counterfeit products.
  • Dispose of counterfeit items properly as per company protocols.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient computer and typing skills.
  • Capability to stand or sit for extended durations and work on computers continuously.
  • Ability to regularly lift items that are light to moderately heavy.

Work Schedule and Conditions

  • Work hours are from 6:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours weekly.
  • Mandatory overtime may be required as needed.
  • Must be available to work on specific key business days prior to major holidays and one holiday annually on the retail sales floor.
