Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Lead Front End Developer with strong expertise in Angular (version 10 and above) to join our Kolkata office. This full-time, onsite role involves collaborating closely with product owners, architects, business analysts, and other technical experts to design, develop, and maintain our digital engineering platform. The position requires working in an agile environment and contributing to problem-solving across functional teams. The interview will be conducted virtually.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with product owners, solution architects, and business analysts to design and implement robust technical front end solutions.
- Develop responsive, accessible Angular front end pages integrated with backend layers using GraphQL.
- Implement development within a micro-frontend architecture adhering to best engineering practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert to promote knowledge-sharing on micro-frontend concepts within the team.
- Adopt and propagate best practices and methodologies among front-end engineers.
- Participate actively as a member of agile development teams and engage in cross-functional problem-solving discussions.
- Work collaboratively with DevOps teams and take ownership of application pipelines.
Candidate Requirements
- 7 to 12 years of professional experience in front end development, specifically with Angular.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Angular versions 10 to 18 and beyond.
- Solid understanding of micro-frontend architectures and best practices.
- Expertise in writing Karma unit tests for Angular components.
- Strong knowledge of REST API integration patterns and working with third-party APIs.
- Detail-oriented approach with good understanding of integrations and test automation.
- Ability to work effectively within an agile development environment.
