Opportunity Overview
Join Boral Quarries at Orange Grove as an Allocator in a fast-paced and stimulating role focused on managing daily tipper truck allocations. This position is crucial for ensuring smooth logistics and customer satisfaction through effective scheduling and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement adaptable, efficient allocation models and service strategies.
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with delivery, sales, and operations teams within and between companies.
- Communicate accurately and promptly with customers to align allocations with their expectations and surpass service standards.
- Plan ahead to optimize logistics and resource distribution.
- Coordinate order scheduling to maximize volume, profitability, and customer service quality.
- Consistently meet service expectations for key clients and identify opportunities for sales and service enhancements.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in fleet allocation and scheduling.
- Background in logistics, including knowledge of chain of responsibility, fatigue and mass management.
- Familiarity with the transport or construction sectors.
- Good understanding of Perth metropolitan area geography.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts: operating hours 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM with rotating Saturdays from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Capability to prioritize effectively and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
- Collaborative team player eager to contribute to shared objectives.
