Job Overview
The Digital Platform Officer will be responsible for overseeing and administrating the firm's digital platforms daily. The position ensures these platforms remain operational, current, user-friendly, and consistent with organizational goals. It involves supporting users and coordinating with internal and technical teams to address any issues.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain digital platforms such as company websites, portals, and online channels.
- Regularly update digital content, including products, services, announcements, and relevant information.
- Track platform performance, availability, functionality, and user engagement.
- Identify, report, and follow up on technical problems or bugs with technical teams for swift resolution.
- Manage user account settings, access permissions, and handle platform-related requests.
- Provide first-level assistance and guidance to platform users encountering issues.
- Collect and monitor user feedback to identify areas for user experience improvements.
- Ensure accuracy and quality presentation of digital content and platform information.
- Produce regular reports detailing platform usage, activities, incidents, and performance metrics.
- Maintain documentation for platform activities, updates, incidents, and user inquiries.
- Collaborate with IT, marketing, operations, and other departments to implement platform enhancements and digital initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, data privacy standards, and digital security protocols.
- Assist in deployment and testing of new digital features, tools, and platform upgrades.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, or related disciplines.
- Between 2 to 4 years of experience in digital platform management, website administration, IT support, or related digital operations roles.
- Experience handling websites, portals, or digital applications management.
- Basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS), digital tools, and platform analytics.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and other applicable digital tools.
- Strong computer and technical aptitude.
- Competent in data management and generating reports.
- Analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and user support capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage various tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Adaptable with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Effective at teamwork and managing stakeholder relationships.
