About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sales team in Toronto, Ontario. As the initial point of contact with potential customers, you will play a crucial role in qualifying leads and exciting them about our software solutions that empower small home service businesses such as plumbers, painters, and landscapers. You'll collaborate with Account Executives to deliver a superior customer experience and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage potential clients through multiple communication channels, including phone, email, and text messages.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to enhance customer experience and demonstrate the value of our product.
- Consistently seek and provide performance feedback to foster personal and team growth.
- Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions and progress using Salesforce for analytics and follow-up.
- Dedicate time to continuous learning and self-driven improvement of sales skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven track record in sales, particularly in technology-related products or retail environments.
- A self-motivated individual comfortable making over 100 calls daily to support sales objectives.
- Highly driven, resilient, and persistent in pursuing sales despite rejection.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to quickly build strong collaborative relationships within the sales team.
- Adaptable and agile mindset, ready to adjust strategies as needed.
- Confident and effective communicator with active listening skills to understand customer needs.
Working Hours and Schedule
The role requires coverage during specific hours, Monday to Thursday from 6 am to 8 pm Mountain Time and Friday to Sunday from 6 am to 6 pm Mountain Time. The position specifically requires working the Monday to Friday late shift from 1 pm to 10 pm Eastern Time.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a transparent and fair compensation package, including a base salary of $46,300 CAD, complemented by a commission potential of $15,000 CAD, resulting in an On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $61,300 CAD. The commission plan is uncapped and paid monthly, allowing for earnings beyond the OTE.
