Internship Overview

Join one of India's leading political and policy consulting firms as an Operations Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience managing central operations, supporting strategic projects, and coordinating tasks across multiple teams. The role demands strong data-handling abilities, effective communication, and multitasking skills to ensure smooth operational workflows and timely task execution.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with various teams and stakeholders to guarantee on-time task completion and deliverables.
Develop and maintain trackers and dashboards to observe project milestones and critical activities.
Gather, validate, and analyze data from diverse sources to support operational decision-making.
Monitor outstanding tasks by following up with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
Prepare comprehensive reports, summaries, and updates to facilitate internal reviews and executive decisions.
Identify and report operational challenges such as gaps, delays, or inconsistencies to relevant parties.
Contribute to the enhancement of operational processes, workflows, and reporting systems.
Assist in formalizing documentation, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives through research and analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong analytical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail in data management.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
Exceptional coordination and communication abilities.
Effective organizational and time management competence.
Capability to track tasks, follow up rigorously, and ensure timely closure.
Problem-solving skills with logical thinking capability.
Experience in preparing clear and concise reports and presentations.
Adaptability to dynamic, fast-paced work environments.
Preferred educational background: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related disciplines from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutions.
Zero to two years’ experience in program management, project management, operations, product management, consulting, or similar functions.
Exposure to managing multi-stakeholder projects and familiarity with process improvement efforts.
Understanding of political and governance contexts in India is advantageous.

Previous experience in operations, consulting, project management, or data analytics is a plus.

Internship Logistics and Perks

Location: Delhi (on-site)
Duration: 3 months
Starting date: Immediate (between 22nd August 2026 and 26th September 2026)
Number of openings: 6
Monthly stipend: ₹19,000–20,000

Eligibility

This opportunity is aimed at candidates who can commit full-time, in-office presence in Delhi for three months starting between late August and late September 2026.
