About the Internship

This internship offers an opportunity to develop and apply your graphic design skills by working on a variety of digital and print design projects. You will be responsible for crafting visuals such as banners, posters, standees, social media graphics, email campaigns, and various promotional assets. Collaboration with internal teams like Customer Success and Product will be key in translating briefs into compelling designs. You will adapt templates using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma, ensuring all output adheres to client brand guidelines and maintains high quality.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging digital and print materials including banners, posters, standees, social media creatives, emailers, and campaign collateral.
• Deliver client-specific design requirements such as alumni platform banners, merchandise creatives, newsletters, and event-related assets.
• Work closely with Customer Success and Product divisions to convert project briefs into effective visual solutions.
• Modify and repurpose existing templates while complying with established brand standards using Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
• Introduce innovative design concepts for campaigns, websites, and mobile application visuals.
• Maintain consistency and quality across all design work aligned with organizational branding.
• Organize design assets and libraries systematically for easy access by the team.
• Respond constructively to feedback and rapidly iterate designs to meet client deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Proficient with design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and Figma at a basic to intermediate level.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design principles.
• Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize and realize design ideas effectively.
• Knowledge of social media content formats, website banner design, and responsive design fundamentals.
• Basic familiarity with video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut is advantageous.
• Ability to adhere to brand guidelines and adjust designs to match diverse client styles.
• Attention to detail with effective time management to handle tight delivery schedules.
• Preferably pursuing or holding a bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia, or related disciplines. Final-year students are welcome to apply.
• Prior internship or project experience in digital design will be beneficial.
• A portfolio showcasing academic, freelance, or personal design projects to demonstrate capability and passion.

AlmaShines Technologies Private Limited, founded by three IIT Kanpur alumni, specializes in cloud-based solutions aimed at transforming the education sector by enabling institutes to cultivate and manage robust alumni networks. Their products include a comprehensive suite of tools such as an Alumni Platform, Virtual Events Platform, Database Management System, Mobile App, and Election Management System to facilitate seamless engagement and support for academic institutions and their alumni.

Additional Information

• Stipend: INR 8,000 to 10,000 per month.
• Internship duration: 2 months.
• Start date: Immediate availability, between August 20, 2026, and September 24, 2026.
• Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India (on-site requirement).
• Dress code: Informal.
