The company is building an innovative mutual fund investment platform designed to streamline investing and provide clients with transparency and control over their financial journeys. This internship involves contributing to the development of this next-generation fintech product aimed at an underserved segment in India.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a fully functional full-stack mutual fund investment platform from the ground up for actual users.
- Create a responsive financial portal leveraging Next.js for frontend and Node.js for backend.
- Design and maintain a PostgreSQL relational database, ensuring data integrity across user portfolios.
- Implement robust security measures including OAuth2 protocols and multi-factor authentication.
- Integrate various financial APIs facilitating KYC verification, payment processing, and mutual fund transactions.
- Work closely with the founder to translate business needs into actionable technical features.
- Participate in building and releasing the platform’s Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
- Assist in onboarding early users and incorporating their feedback to improve the product.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and deployment pipelines.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React or Next.js, and Node.js is required.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational database principles.
- A strong sense of responsibility and ownership for code quality and deliverables.
- Passion for tackling complex technical challenges in a dynamic environment.
- Experience or familiarity with React Native or D3.js for financial charting is advantageous.
- Motivation to work on a live fintech product delivering real-world impact.
Additional Information
- The internship lasts for 4 months and is a full-time remote engagement.
- End-to-end development exposure covering frontend, backend, database management, cloud, DevOps, and security.
- Experience working within India's fintech ecosystem including KYC, payments, and mutual fund platforms.
