This senior position involves hands-on coding, mentoring others, influencing technical strategy, and elevating engineering standards across teams.

Key Responsibilities

You have strong engineering judgment, curiosity, and confidence to lead technical initiatives, while remaining engaged with hands-on development.

You thrive in collaborative environments, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and aim to transform ideas into effective, well-designed solutions. You also aspire to broaden your influence by mentoring and contributing to improved team processes, with a potential path towards leadership.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Extensive full-stack software engineering experience at a senior level, with deep specialized expertise and the flexibility to work across related technologies.
  • Hands-on development background with a keen interest in staying connected to the code, tools, and delivery process.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching peers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
  • Strong familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and build systems.
  • Proven ability to design SDKs or APIs consumable by external teams or companies.
  • Skill in balancing technical excellence with considerations for delivery timelines, quality, security, compliance, and maintainability over time.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration capacity to influence technical strategies across diverse stakeholders.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and eagerness to explore new tools, automation techniques, standards, engineering practices, and industry trends.

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience developing real-time video applications in fields such as broadcast, video over IP, video conferencing, medical imaging, or robotics, especially if interested in applying these skills to physical security.
