Role Opportunity

We are seeking compassionate Basic Care Assistants to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team, delivering excellent patient care. This role involves hands-on assistance with patients' hygiene, feeding, mobility, and overall well-being, alongside maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene, especially those who are bedbound or need help.
• Provide aid with oral feeding for patients who require support.
• Help with lifting, repositioning, and transporting patients safely.
• Promote patient safety and offer emotional and social support through appropriate activities.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a pleasant atmosphere for patients.
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols when caring for patients.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the nurse manager.

Requirements

• No previous patient care experience necessary.
• Candidates with a WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare (Nursing) may be considered for the Care Support Associate designation.
• Minimum educational qualification: PSLE or WPLN.
• Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• On-the-job training will be provided to support skill development.
