Senior Radiographer

Job Overview

The Senior Radiographer will conduct radiographic procedures using both general and specialized imaging techniques, such as Ultrasound, CT scans, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, and Angiography. Providing high-quality patient care and maintaining rigorous safety standards are essential aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations across various imaging modalities including advanced technologies.
• Deliver attentive and compassionate service to patients throughout procedures.
• Ensure strict compliance with occupational safety protocols focusing on patient safety, radiation protection, and infection control.
• Mentor and oversee the activities of student radiographers during their clinical training.
• Engage actively in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement projects within the department.

Qualifications and Candidate Profile

• Holder of a recognized Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
• Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication capabilities.
• Experience with MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, CT, or Angiography is highly preferred.
• Availability to work shifts including weekends, public holidays, and on-call rotations.
