About the Role
We seek a skilled Software Engineer to join our expanding Digital Solutions team. This position involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend applications that support high-quality digital products. The role requires collaboration with product, data, and engineering teams to develop dependable and effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, enhance, and sustain backend services and features primarily using Java.
- Engage in all phases of the software development life cycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure developed solutions satisfy both functionality and performance standards.
- Implement best coding practices, thorough testing, and maintain clear documentation.
- Take part in code review sessions and support overall quality assurance activities.
- Assist in optimizing system performance and minimizing technical debt.
- Collaborate closely with product management, design, and data teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Support integration efforts with broader system architectures and platform environments.
- Promote continuous improvement and share expertise within the team.
Profile & Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar disciplines.
- Have 4 to 6 years of professional software development experience, particularly focused on Java technologies.
- Demonstrate strong skills in Java programming and backend system development.
- Experience working with Spring or Spring Boot frameworks is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices design principles.
- Familiar with concepts of code quality, unit testing frameworks, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
- Understand core principles of application architecture.
