Role Overview
This full-time, office-based position in Indore seeks a Python Developer to architect, create, and maintain backend services, APIs, automation scripts, and AI-driven solutions. The job involves leveraging Python frameworks to build scalable software, integrate third-party cloud components, fine-tune database operations, and uphold high standards in application security, stability, and performance.
Primary Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain backend Python applications and associated services.
- Create and manage RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Develop automation tools and manage workflow processes.
- Optimize database schema and queries, primarily on MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Integrate various cloud services, notably from AWS.
- Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams.
- Adopt and promote best practices in architecture, testing, security, and deployments.
- Engage in code review sessions and technical brainstorming.
- Advance AI, ML, and large language model implementations when applicable.
Required Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience coding in Python.
- Proficiency with Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
- Experience designing and working with RESTful APIs.
- Solid database design skills and query optimization expertise for MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Version control usage, specifically Git.
- Familiarity with software design patterns and writing clean code.
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and background task management.
- Comfortable working in Linux server environments.
- Strong debugging, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality coding standards.
Preferred Expertise
- Understanding of AI, ML, and large language models.
- Experience with AI frameworks including LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, or similar.
- Exposure to automation and workflow orchestration tools.
- Docker and containerization experience.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Educational Background
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field is mandatory.
- Certifications in Python, AWS, AI, or cloud technologies are advantageous.
