  • Support design for manufacturing (DFM) reviews, design failure mode effects analysis (DFMEA), and critical design assessments.
  • Investigate and resolve field issues, warranty claims, and feedback related to product reliability.
  • Translate customer and field experience insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electronics, firmware, product management, manufacturing, and customer support.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineering staff to uphold strong standards of design quality.

Candidate Requirements

  • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), drawing release processes, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and DFMEA methodologies.
  • Strong skills in root cause analysis and pragmatic problem-solving.
  • Ability to make informed engineering decisions despite incomplete data.
