Job description
Role Overview
Located at Longford Forest, this full-time position offers a salary of approximately c51,200 per annum. As a Maintenance Assistant Manager, you will ensure the seamless operation of maintenance services within Accommodation and Central Buildings. You will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and play an essential role in maintaining safe, functional, and welcoming environments for guests and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities and organize the maintenance team effectively.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to plan and address maintenance requirements promptly.
- Assist with training initiatives, track performance, and foster professional growth among team members.
- Manage timekeeping and attendance systems to maximize operational efficiency.
Working Hours and Conditions
- Full-time employment with a guaranteed minimum of 150 hours within every four-week period.
- Possibility of working additional hours based on business needs.
- Work schedule includes early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Sunday work remunerated with a premium pay rate.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses a recognized qualification and practical experience in Electrical, Gas Safe, Mechanical, or Plumbing trades.
- Enjoys leading and nurturing teams through supportive management.
- Exhibits strong organizational, planning, and computer skills.
- Demonstrates a positive and motivating attitude towards work and collaboration.
- Holds a valid full driving license for at least six months.
