About the Role
Based at Longford Forest in Ireland, this full-time Electrician position offers an approximate annual salary of c47,500. The role involves maintaining guest accommodation and village facilities by handling callouts and addressing maintenance issues to support seamless family break experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and perform planned preventative electrical maintenance tasks.
- Support the Technical Services team with various duties assigned by management.
- Identify and resolve technical problems, reporting any defects to avoid future issues.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and colleagues during engagements.
Working Hours and Conditions
- This is a full-time role with flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Employment guarantees a minimum of 150 working hours over every four weeks, with potential for additional hours as operational needs dictate.
- Free transportation is offered from Ballymahon and Longford Town for employees without private transport.
- Premium pay rates apply for work performed on Sundays.
Requirements
- NFQ Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft in Electrical, or equivalent such as a National Craft Certificate, with practical experience applying National Rules for Electrical Installations per ET101 standards.
- Valid driving license held for at least six months.
- Prior trade experience in electrical or mechanical fields.
- Strong customer service capabilities.
