About the Role
Babbidge Construction Company, serving Connecticut's private institutional and commercial sectors on smaller to mid-sized projects, is seeking a dedicated Biller. This role is vital in supporting our Controller and ensuring the monthly billing cycle progresses efficiently. Responsibilities
- Manage billing for construction projects featuring various contract types.
- Calculate sales tax accurately.
- Allocate burdens appropriately according to project needs.
- Maintain and apply rate tables effectively.
- Set up new projects in billing systems.
- Analyze construction contracts thoroughly.
- Verify data consistency through Procore software.
Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with construction industry billing procedures.
- Knowledge of AIA contract documentation.
- Understanding diverse billing methodologies.
- Proficiency with Procore and Sage Intacct platforms is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with leadership qualities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
