Azure Solution Architect

Overview

We seek a seasoned Azure Solution Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of large-scale cloud solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect comprehensive solutions for cloud-native and hybrid applications.
• Define architectures encompassing applications, integrations, data, and infrastructure components.
• Lead architectural reviews while offering expert technical direction to delivery teams.
• Create secure, scalable, and resilient system designs leveraging Azure services.
• Engage collaboratively with business units, software developers, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity experts, and external vendors.
• Support governance activities related to architecture, conduct design assessments, and evaluate emerging technologies.

Required Expertise

• Over 10 years of professional IT experience with a focus on solution architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of practical, hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure App Services, Azure API Management, and Azure Functions.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, integration patterns, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, authentication protocols OAuth2 and OIDC, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and principles of enterprise security and governance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure AI Foundry and Databricks technologies.
• Expertise in mobile and web application architecture.
• Possession of certifications like TOGAF or Microsoft Azure Solution Architect.
