Job description
Purpose of Your Work
At Checkers & Rally’s, we are dedicated to impacting lives by supporting our Franchisees, Teams, and Guests. As a valued member of the Corporate Field Operations team, you will assist the General Manager in overseeing successful shifts by meeting sales and profit targets, implementing procedures, and delivering outstanding service to both Guests and Team members. Your role as Shift Manager is essential in helping the restaurant and General Manager maintain our status as the preferred choice for Guests and Employees alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Boost sales and profitability through outstanding Guest satisfaction and efficient restaurant management.
- Report any issues or suggestions concerning the restaurant, staff, or Guests to the General Manager promptly.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures during your shifts.
- Train Team Members comprehensively on company operations, policies, procedures, and Guest service expectations.
- Address and resolve complaints and violations related to policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for both employees and Guests.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 1 to 2 years of management experience in the restaurant industry, particularly in Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) settings.
- Proficient in basic math skills.
- Willingness to work flexible and extended hours as needed.
- High energy and enthusiasm to thrive in a fast-paced workplace.
