Overview
SkyCity Adelaide is inviting motivated and dependable individuals to become Kitchen Stewards within its Back of House team. This full-time role plays a crucial part in maintaining smooth, safe, and hygienic kitchen operations across multiple venues in the precinct. If you thrive in fast-paced hospitality settings and value cleanliness and organization, this opportunity allows you to contribute significantly to one of Adelaide's premier culinary hubs.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout kitchens, cold storage areas, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure adherence to chemical usage guidelines, hygiene protocols, and Occupational Health and Safety (WHS) procedures.
- Assist chefs by supporting function setup tasks and preparing for stocktaking activities.
- Facilitate efficient operations across multiple kitchens, including during nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Candidate Profile
- Solid understanding of kitchen hygiene practices and HACCP standards.
- Knowledgeable about safe chemical handling and storage.
- Ability to remain organized and communicate effectively under high pressure.
- Adaptable to working in various kitchens and managing competing demands with a proactive, positive approach.
