Overview
Visteon Corporation is seeking a dedicated Workforce Planning Specialist to join the Workforce Architecture team, a pivotal unit focused on integrating talent, cost, and productivity to support the future business framework. This role involves working at the crossroads of data analytics, strategic planning, and impactful business solutions to drive substantial workforce transformation and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a dynamic Role Risk Register to assess the impact of AI and automation on various roles within the company.
- Convert intricate data into actionable insights to guide reskilling, redeployment, and evolution of the workforce.
- Collaborate closely with Talent teams to safeguard and anticipate crucial skills and roles for the future.
- Design and implement strategies for workforce investment and divestment, prioritizing hiring locations and optimizing workforce capacity based on business priorities, internal talent availability, and automation potential.
- Lead the creation of comprehensive 12 to 36-month workforce forecasts incorporating demand, skills, hiring, and attrition data.
- Provide ongoing reports detailing talent surpluses, deficits, and recruitment priorities.
- Develop scalable analytic tools to enhance planning precision and adaptability.
- Offer guidance to improve organizational effectiveness by refining spans, layers, and role alignment to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
Expected Achievements in the First Year
- Complete an AI impact assessment for all roles, accompanied by practical reskilling strategies.
- Create a workforce investment framework to identify and implement optimization opportunities with measurable results.
- Deploy a predictive workforce intelligence engine for strategic long-term planning.
- Drive organizational design enhancements that boost productivity and free up capacity.
Measurement of Success
- Attain comprehensive insight into AI-related risks across roles with effective mitigation strategies.
- Deliver tangible improvements in ROI and workforce efficiency.
- Achieve approximately ±5% accuracy in workforce forecasting.
- Successfully redeploy talent to meet evolving business demands.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 10 years professional experience in workforce planning, resource management, or engineering operations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving expertise, ideally from backgrounds in strategy, finance, analytics, or consultancy.
- Proven ability to influence senior leadership through compelling, data-driven narratives.
- Skillful in evaluating trade-offs, scenarios, and understanding financial consequences.
- Strong orientation towards business results, focusing on capacity, productivity, and cost efficiency instead of mere activity metrics.
