Role Overview
The Workforce Allocator role is a full-time, on-site position located in Sydney, NSW. The main responsibility is to organize and assign labour hire and traffic management personnel to different client locations, guaranteeing correct staffing levels and skill combinations. Daily duties include assessing job demands, collaborating with supervisors and clients, managing rosters, verifying staff availability, handling urgent staffing adjustments, and keeping accurate workforce system records. The role also involves addressing attendance concerns, ensuring compliance with company safety policies, and aiding in refining allocation and resource planning procedures.
Candidate Qualifications
- Experience in workforce planning, scheduling, or rostering within labour hire, construction, traffic control, or similar sectors.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to balance multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork with colleagues, clients, and field staff.
- Proficient in fundamental computer software and experienced with workforce or scheduling tools, capable of maintaining precise data and records.
- Familiarity with workplace safety standards and compliance demands in labour hire or traffic management fields.
- Problem-solving aptitude and good judgment, particularly in managing last-minute staffing changes or challenges.
- Available to work on-site in Sydney, able to thrive in a high-paced environment, and fostering a respectful, inclusive work atmosphere.
- Prior experience in allocation, coordination, or operational roles is preferred; business, logistics, or related certifications are beneficial.
