Job Overview

This position involves the rewinding and repair of generator rotors and stators, ensuring all activities comply with environmental, health, safety, and ethical standards within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Removing old windings from generator rotors or stators.
• Performing rewinding tasks for generator rotors and stators.
• Repairing generator winding and insulation systems either on-site or at the GEMTEC facility.
• Inspecting hardware and consumables necessary for rewinding operations.
• Conducting standard electrical testing during rewinding processes.
• Performing final visual inspections on rotors and stators.
• Executing electrical tests on generators.
• Maintaining workshop tools and equipment in good condition.
• Documenting work through reports and protocols.
• Supporting the spin pit team as required.
• Performing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Preparing and maintaining regular inspections of service workshop tools, instruments, and components.

Required Qualifications

• Capability to perform rewinding and repair tasks following technical instructions and guidance from the lead winder.
• Ability to interpret winding and mechanical assembly drawings.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in winding turbogenerators exceeding 25 MW.
• Hands-on experience in manual winding of turbo generators.
• Familiarity with production environments and winding processes.
• Knowledge of operating induction heating machines.
• Proficiency in common IT office applications.
• Experience in taking precise dimensional measurements.
• Skills in mechanical assembly related to generators.
