Role Overview

We are seeking a talented, innovative, and self-driven Web Developer to create, enhance, and maintain websites, e-commerce platforms, and web applications for Berg Technologies and its clientele. This role demands expertise in WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design, coupled with a strong grasp of website optimization, technical SEO, UI/UX principles, and third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and upkeep responsive websites and web apps using modern practices including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Customize and manage WordPress themes, plugins, Shopify themes, templates, and storefront components.
• Convert UI/UX design files like Figma and Adobe XD into fully functional and responsive websites.
• Configure and optimize e-commerce sites on Shopify and WooCommerce including product, category setup, and checkout flow.
• Integrate payment gateways, CRM, marketing, analytics tools, and third-party APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, compatibility issues, and technical challenges on websites and e-commerce platforms.
• Enhance website performance by implementing speed optimizations, caching, lazy loading, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
• Follow SEO best practices including technical SEO, sitemap, robots.txt, structured data, and ensure website indexing and ranking are optimized.
• Create and optimize landing pages tailored for marketing campaigns to maximize conversions and tracking capabilities.
• Implement and manage analytics, tracking, and digital marketing integrations such as GA4, GTM, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and conversion tracking.
• Ensure website security, perform system updates, backups, vulnerability assessments, and apply best security practices across platforms.
• Conduct end-to-end testing including cross-browser, device compatibility, usability, and debugging before deployment.
• Use version control tools such as Git and maintain development, staging, and production environments efficiently.
• Collaborate effectively with designers, SEO experts, marketers, and clients to deliver projects on time, provide technical insights, and manage multiple priorities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related disciplines.
• Between 3 to 7+ years of practical web development experience.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Responsive Web Design.
• Extensive experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify platforms.
• Knowledge of Shopify Liquid template language for theme customization.
• Experience customizing WordPress themes and plugins.
• Familiarity with PHP and MySQL database management.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
• Working knowledge of Git version control system.
• Experience managing website hosting, including cPanel environments.

Additional Information

Employment offers a monthly salary range between INR 20,000 to INR 30,000. The position is based in Delhi-NCR and requires onsite presence. Candidates should be proactive, able to work independently, and embrace ownership of projects while maintaining effective collaboration with diverse teams. This role also involves handling technical SEO aspects, troubleshooting complex e-commerce integrations, and supporting website migrations between platforms when necessary.
