Role Overview
The Video Editor will be responsible for producing a range of video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and promotional purposes, including reels, advertisements, brand, and corporate videos. Work will encompass projects related to 3D, AR/VR, and cutting-edge creative technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit both short and long-form videos tailored to social media and marketing needs.
- Create captivating reels, advertisements, brand videos, and corporate content.
- Incorporate elements such as transitions, music, sound effects, motion graphics, and visual effects where appropriate.
- Ensure storytelling is compelling with effective pacing and visual harmony throughout videos.
- Interpret project briefs and convert scripts/concepts into visually appealing content.
- Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to produce engaging videos.
- Organize project assets and deliver final videos within stipulated deadlines.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends in video editing, social media formats, and visual styles.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects software.
- Strong grasp of video editing essentials: storytelling, pacing, transitions, music integration, and sound design.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects techniques.
- Creative approach coupled with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to comprehend briefs and effectively execute creative concepts.
- Good communication and ability to work collaboratively in teams.
- Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience producing Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, advertisements, or promotional videos.
- Basic familiarity with 3D/AR/VR content creation considered an advantage.
- Possession of a strong portfolio or showreel showcasing prior video editing work.
