Role Summary

Travelzoo is looking for a Video Editor (m/f/d) to join its Munich office, contributing to the global Photo & Video team. The successful candidate will craft and polish compelling, high-quality short-form video content that inspires Travelzoo's audience across various platforms including the website, newsletters, emails, social media, and app.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and enhance engaging travel and lifestyle videos aligned with brand requirements.
• Source captivating video footage from travel and entertainment partners as well as licensed platforms.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Marketing, PR teams, and the Video Producer to develop impactful campaigns.
• Maintain visual consistency adhering to brand style guides.
• Stay informed on the latest industry trends and explore innovative editing techniques and tools.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Proven experience editing videos in the lifestyle and travel sectors.
• Good judgment to identify high-quality and visually appealing content.
• A robust portfolio showcasing diverse, relevant editing projects.
• Proficient with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools.
• Familiarity with travel destinations and storytelling related to lifestyle content.
• A passion for travel and lifestyle media.
• Fluency in both German and English languages.
