Role Overview
The Video Editor position is full-time and located in Bhubaneswar. The editor is responsible for organizing and editing raw videos including YouTube documentaries, podcasts, UGC advertisements, and social media clips to ensure seamless storytelling and excellent production value. Day-to-day tasks include trimming footage, adding transitions, titles, sound effects, and applying basic color correction to maintain visual consistency. This role requires collaboration with directors, strategists, and motion designers to blend motion graphics and visual assets that adhere to brand guidelines. The editor also oversees project file management, workflow efficiency, and timely delivery of platform-optimized exports.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in video editing and production, adept at timeline, audio, and handling diverse footage formats.
- Skilled in video color grading for consistent tonal quality across content types.
- Competent in motion graphics and graphic creation, including overlays and simple animations.
- Experience using industry-standard editing suites like Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, along with motion software such as After Effects or equivalents.
- Strong attention to detail and storytelling ability with a capability to interpret creative briefs and feedback effectively.
- Ability to work onsite in Bhubaneswar and collaborate with multiple teams under tight deadlines.
- Educational background in film, media, design, or related fields advantageous, or equivalent practical skills.
