About the Role
Team With Someone is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join their team based in Mayur Vihar Phase 1, Delhi. This role involves transforming raw footage into compelling videos suitable for social media platforms, primarily Instagram Reels, short videos, talking-head content, promotional clips, and other online creatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-format social media videos such as Reels.
- Produce talking-head, educational, and promotional video content.
- Add captions, transitions, music, sound effects, and other visual enhancements.
- Create engaging hooks and ensure smooth pacing throughout the videos.
- Enhance the audio and visual quality of raw footage.
- Adhere to diverse client brand styles and guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with content and social media teams.
- Respond to feedback promptly and execute timely revisions.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends.
- Efficiently manage project files and meet deadlines.
Candidate Profile
- 6 months to 2 years of video editing experience preferred, but enthusiastic freshers with impressive portfolios are welcome.
- Strong grasp of timing, pacing, and storytelling principles.
- Ability to craft captivating videos designed for social media engagement.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Capability to comprehend briefs and work independently.
- Comfortable multitasking across several projects and meeting deadlines.
- Keen to learn and continuously enhance skills.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in at least one professional video editing software is essential. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve is preferred; familiarity with After Effects is a plus.
Portfolio
Applicants should submit a portfolio showcasing work such as Reels, YouTube videos, talking-head videos, podcast clips, branding videos, advertisements, educational materials, or motion graphics. The quality of the portfolio is prioritized over formal educational credentials.
