About the Role

We are seeking a creative Video Editor based in Bangalore who excels at transforming raw footage into engaging visual stories. This role involves close collaboration with the creative team to produce video content that aligns with brand identity and project goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and sequence raw video clips into polished final products with seamless transitions.
• Work with the creative team to grasp project aims and deliver videos consistent with brand standards.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite tools, mainly Premiere Pro and After Effects, for efficient video editing.
• Add motion graphics and visual effects using After Effects to elevate video quality.
• Apply fundamental sound design and color correction techniques to enhance audiovisual impact.
• Own projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and quality benchmarks are met.
• Keep up with the latest editing trends and techniques to continuously refine skills.
• Organize assets, project files, and completed work systematically.
• Be prepared to travel occasionally for on-site video shoots as necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience ranging from 5 months to 2 years with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects; applications from freshers are welcome.
• Competency in motion graphics software, specifically After Effects, is vital.
• Basic knowledge of sound design and color grading is beneficial.
• A strong portfolio showcasing creativity, technical proficiency, and storytelling ability.
• A passion for video editing and narrative crafting.
• Effective communication skills for team collaboration and client interaction.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight schedules.
• Flexibility to travel for shoots whenever required.

The position is located onsite in Bangalore.
