Role Overview
The Video Editor will handle the editing of client video materials that support personal branding and PR initiatives. Their main tasks involve assembling raw footage, cutting and trimming clips, adding transitions and visual effects, syncing audio tracks, and collaborating with creative and strategy teams on storyboarding and concept formation. The editor will optimize videos for various online platforms, ensure brand cohesion, and manage deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously. The position is full-time and requires on-site attendance in Mohali, working closely with team members and contributing to creative discussions.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience ranging from zero to six months preferred, with good command of English.
- Competence in video production and editing oriented towards digital and social media content.
- Skills in color grading for videos to maintain consistent visual quality.
- Capability in motion graphics and graphic design to produce engaging visual elements and titles.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or equivalents.
- Strong aptitude in visual storytelling, timing, and synchronization between audio and visuals.
- Ability to understand creative briefs, accept constructive feedback, and collaborate effectively within an on-site team.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and capacity to juggle multiple projects.
- Preferred relevant educational background in film, media, design, or related fields; a portfolio showcasing prior video editing work is required.
