About the Role
We are seeking a committed Veterinary Relationship Manager based in New Zealand to manage and expand partnerships with veterinary clinics across the Lower North and South Islands. This full-time permanent position involves working onsite, ideally from Wellington or Christchurch, driving growth for PetSure's GapOnly® pet insurance solution by fostering strong relationships and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture partnerships with veterinary clinics throughout New Zealand, focusing on acquiring new clients and enhancing engagement.
- Manage the entire customer lifecycle: identify opportunities, onboard new clinics, provide ongoing training and support, and promote usage and retention of GapOnly®.
- Analyze performance data to offer actionable insights that increase product adoption and clinic growth.
- Assist clinics with marketing efforts and strategies to boost customer engagement.
- Serve as the main contact point for all participating veterinary practices.
- Collect market feedback and customer insights to help refine and improve service offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional experiences to clients.
- Represent PetSure at veterinary industry events, conferences, and forums to strengthen brand presence.
Candidate Profile
- Proven background in account or relationship management, business or territory development, ideally with experience in veterinary, animal health, pet care, healthcare, insurance, or related sectors.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills to build trust and credibility with both veterinary professionals and business owners.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding growth, usage, or sales objectives.
- Strong organizational skills paired with effective time management.
- Detail-oriented problem solver who works independently yet collaborates effectively within teams.
