Role Overview

As a Design Verification (DV) Manager at Codasip, you will be instrumental in growing our Verification team across multiple UK Design Centers, primarily in Bristol and Cambridge. Your leadership will help shape both project-level and strategic company-wide verification goals. Collaborating closely with other Verification Leads, you will share responsibilities to effectively manage workloads and resources while guiding engineers to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the expansion and capacity building of the Verification team distributed over various Design Centers, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
• Collaborate with peer Verification Leads to distribute management duties and balance team workloads.
• Lead verification efforts for RISC-V processor cores and their extensions.
• Oversee and own IP Verification projects from inception through delivery.
• Influence and help define company-wide verification strategies.
• Address unique technical challenges associated with Codasip’s customizable IP portfolio.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to foster high standards in Verification methodologies and practices.
• Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration and project efficiency.
• Stay informed on emerging industry trends and innovations, applying insights to maintain competitive advantages.

Candidate Profile

• Robust background in semiconductor Verification with readiness to transition into management.
• Substantial commercial experience employing diverse functional processor verification techniques including simulation, coverage analysis, and gate-level simulation.
• Expertise in verifying CPU architectures or other complex intellectual properties such as GPUs or Neural Network Accelerators.
• Proven leadership capabilities with excellent communication skills to inspire and motivate teams.
• Familiarity with RISC-V architecture and principles of computer systems architecture.
• Knowledge of advanced Verification methodologies and tools.
• Effective workload management and prioritization skills in fast-paced settings.

This position is open exclusively to candidates currently residing in the United Kingdom who possess legal working rights in the UK. Preferred workplace locations include Codasip’s UK design centers in Bristol or Cambridge.
